Jeanna is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in leadership, Dermatological procedures, wound care and medical dermatology. Raised in Grangeville, Idaho, she began her post high school education at the University of Idaho and earned her Practical Nursing degree from Lewis-Clark State College before advancing her career in the Treasure Valley, where she held roles including floor nurse, unit manager, Assistant Director of Nursing, and Director of Nursing. While working in healthcare leadership, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014 and later served as a nursing care advisor for St. Luke’s Health Partners, supporting patients at high risk for hospitalization and gaining valuable insight into patient-centered care and healthcare access challenges.

Jeanna earned her Master’s degree in Adult Gerontology Primary Care in 2018 and obtained board certification the same year. She began practicing dermatology in 2020 under the mentorship of Dr. Carl Thornfeldt in Fruitland, Idaho, where she received advanced training in medical dermatology and dermatologic procedures. She continued practicing following the transition of the clinic to new ownership and earned board certification in dermatology in 2024 through the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Certification Board. Jeanna is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, Dermatology Nurses’ Association, and the Idaho Medical Association. She is committed to providing high-quality, personalized dermatologic care to her community and expanding local access to specialty services.
